139 g of 70% Ground beef (yield from 1/2lb of raw meat) |

Thaw frozen spinach. Cook buckwheat. We cook buckwheat in a rice cooker it helps us to keep it fresh for few days, but you can use other conventional methods if you prefer. Heat skillet and add oil and ground beef. Mix until beef is crumbly and start to changes color to brown. Add spinach to beef mix for about 2 more minutes until beef id brown. Mix buckwheat and beef and cool to room temperature before feeding. This food is a good source of protein, vitamin A, vitamin K, iron and manganese. Protein to carbohydrate ratio is 1:2. Fish oil and multivitamins can be added to balance this meal even more, but it is not absolutely necessary due to great nutritional value of ingredients. Total recipe yields three servings for a ten pound dog. |
