Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is done, about 45 to 50 minutes. Chop chicken and mix in with cooked rice. Cook and stir ground beef until it is crumbly and no longer pink on the skillet, about 5 minutes. Add vegetables and stir in with beef for two more minutes. Stir in the oats and mix. Transfer to bowl with chicken and rice, add salt. Divide into portions and feed according to weight. This meal is a good source of protein, and a very good source of vitamin A, vitamin K and manganese. Supplementation with multivitamins, calcium carbonate and fish oil is recommended to create balanced meal. This meal provides a protein to carbohydrates ratio of 1:2. |
